We’re adhering to government guidelines, and for everyone’s safety we have stopped face to face counselling and our weekly support groups until further notice. For those that currently have face-to-face counselling, can access telephone support during this period. We are also offering Online Support through our online chat service in the right hand corner of our website.
You can still refer into the service, and as soon as it is safe to do so we can resume face to face counselling.
Keep an eye out for all updates, tips and information on all of our social media accounts and our website.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Willow Project is a registered charity, supporting children and young people, aged 6-19 and their families who are affected by mental health and emotional issues.
Anyone living in the Wigan Borough, including Leigh, Tyldesley and Atherton, can get support from us.
Young people can access us by referring themselves (as long as we think that they’re old enough, i.e. 13+), or by being referred by family, school or a professional.
We offer counselling, and various weekly support groups.
To help support the family, we also offer one to one counselling to parents/carers of the young people that access us, with adults being seen on a different day to the young person.
Check out our FAQs section to answer any queries you have.
If you want to support us, you can volunteer for us. You can find a link to our volunteer form at the bottom of our website. This link will take you to an online application form. It only takes 5 minutes! Volunteer for us and add to your CV!
